In this role, you'll:
Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure their longevity, the Sydney Trains Tangara Fleet Life Extension (TFLE) project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers.
The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry.
Working as part of the Sydney Trains (TFLE) project team, you will maintain and monitor key material supply vehicle maintenance processes, and, in collaboration with (TFLE) project stakeholders and seeks opportunities to improve materials.
Produce, review, analyse and distribute periodic performance and financial reports, forecasts and audits.
Champion the application of “Continuous Improvement” methodologies and practices.
Supervise and empower the TFLE project warehousing team to deliver business outcomes.
Execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities.
This is a Temporary Opportunity for up to 23 months based at Flemington, NSW.

About you
Experience in Stores and Warehouse Management, ideally in rail or heavy industry.
Knowledge of Materials and or production management.
Knowledge and application of stock control, inventory and warranty systems and processes.
Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint.
Valid appropriate Materials Handling Equipment licenses.
Working knowledge of SAP in WM/IM systems and will be highly regarded.
