About the Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for both Permanent and Temporary Full-Time opportunities, offering the chance to play a key role in delivering one of the most significant digital health transformations across NSW Health.
As a Senior Digital Health Analyst within the Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA), you will support the design, configuration and implementation of digital health solutions that enable safe, efficient and patient-centred care across NSW Health. You will translate complex clinical workflows into effective digital systems that support improved service delivery and patient outcomes.
Working within the Outpatient, Ambulatory and Community workstream, you will focus on enhancing how care is delivered outside the inpatient setting. This includes supporting outpatient clinics, community health services and ambulatory models of care through integrated, standardised digital solutions.
You will collaborate closely with clinicians, operational leaders and technical specialists to design and implement digital solutions (including Epic modules) that improve visibility, continuity of care and service efficiency across outpatient and community settings statewide.
This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of outpatient, ambulatory and community care across NSW by contributing to the SDPR program. You will work on large-scale digital transformation initiatives using platforms such as Epic, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to design, test and optimise solutions that enhance both patient outcomes and clinician experience.
In this role, you will:

Lead the design, configuration and implementation of digital health solutions that support clinical and operational workflows across NSW Health.

Translate complex clinical processes and technical concepts into clear, plain-language advice to support informed decision-making.

Facilitate and lead stakeholder engagement across governance forums, working groups and design workshops.

Define current and future state workflows, business requirements and system configurations, maintaining high-quality documentation aligned to best practice.

Support testing activities, defect management and continuous improvement through lessons learned and product backlog refinement.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds tertiary qualifications in Health (Medical, Nursing, Pharmacy, Allied Health, Health Information Management) and/or has extensive experience working in a public healthcare setting.

Brings strong clinical or public health experience, with a deep understanding of healthcare workflows, models of care and operational processes.

Has demonstrated success delivering digital health initiatives in clinical environments, from design through to implementation and optimisation.

Is confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, able to influence outcomes and build collaborative, trusted relationships.

Possesses strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify risks, issues and dependencies and contribute to mitigation strategies within complex programs.

Thrives in fast-paced, evolving digital environments and actively maintains current knowledge of contemporary health ICT platforms and practices.

Successful candidates may be required to complete multiple virtual Epic training sessions and Epic orientation, all scheduled in U.S. time.
