About the role

This position is responsible for customer service excellence including, but not limited to, sales and the provision of information regarding memberships, visit passes, group fitness bookings, program enrolments, program enquiries and merchandise sales within Council’s aquatic and wellness facilities.

The successful candidate will need to have flexibility and willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster.

In this role you will:

Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting community members and facility users through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
Promote facility programs, services, and activities by generating awareness, responding to enquiries, and encouraging participation and sales opportunities.
Manage administrative and customer records including processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, completing documentation, and supporting customers with online platforms.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming facility by ensuring high standards of presentation, hygiene, safety, and security.

What’s on offer

We are offering multiple casual opportunities, with a competitive hourly rate $34.52 plus 25% casual loading plus 12% Superannuation.

During peak season, it may be expected (not guaranteed) to work approximately 15 hours a week or more.

The successful candidate will need to have flexibility and willingness to work a 7-day rotating roster.

The successful candidate is someone who brings:

Previous experience in busy customer-based environment
Cash handling experience and/or operation of Point-of-Sale System
Commitment to providing excellence in customer service
