Join Cathay Pacific as a Cargo Sales & Services Officer in this permanent, full-time role based in Sydney. You'll support day-to-day cargo operations through customer service, sales support, flight preparation, and operational coordination, helping to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of cargo.
Working with customers, cargo agents, and operational teams, you will play an important role in delivering exceptional service while upholding Cathay's safety, compliance, and quality standards. - Support cargo reservations and booking
- Check and review post flight documentation
- Prepare post-flight reports and flight documentation for crew and customs
- Coordinate between engineering, airport operations, air traffic control and vendors
- Communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders, including customers, airport and cargo operations, suppliers, flight crew etc.
- Coordinate cargo service activities between sales, operations and ground handling to ensure efficient handling of shipments
- Assist in managing Ground Handling Agent and other supplier performance and provide guidelines and instructions as required and report issues as appropriate
- Assist to ensure compliance and conformance to regulatory and internal safety, security, quality, and procedural requirements
- Previous experience in customer service experience preferred
- Proven planning and organisational skills with good attention to detail
- Excellent MS Office application and digital skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills with a solutions based attitude
- Able to work independently and within a wider regional team
- Actively seeks continuous improvement and embraces systems improvements
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to deal with rapid changes in the environment
