National Civil Contractor working with Tier 1 clients
FRP / Tunnel Infrastructure project
2/1 FIFO Roster with competitive base plus site uplifts paid weekly

With over 25 years of experience across Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland, Whittens is a family-owned national Australian civil construction contractor. We deliver both large-scale and technically complex FRP, concrete, earthworks and civil infrastructure projects for major mining and infrastructure clients.

Our Project:
With a large-scale tunnel infrastructure project underway in NSW involving FRP works, we are recruiting a HSE Advisor to join our operations team in NSW.

Reporting to the Project Manager, our autonomous field HSE Advisors are responsible for supporting the project to successfully implement the HSE management system and programs to achieve a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment. Essentially, we are seeking safety individuals who will actively coach workers to promote a positive culture on site.

About you

At least 5 years+ experience on a High-Risk Civil projects as a HSE Advisor
Tunnel construction and/or large scale FRP (Form Reo Pour) project experience - A must
Experience with FIFO and remote projects working for a Contractor
Formal OSH Qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma is preferred
Cert 4 in Training and Assessment - preferred
Experience in Nightshift operations and flexibility to work nightshift - A must
Self-starter with ability to communicate with all stakeholder levels
