Your opportunity to join our team
The Health and Safety Advisor works collaboratively with the site to provide practical Health and Safety advice and coaching to establish and maintain a safety culture. The role is responsible for contributing to the implementation of our Work Health and Safety Management System to achieve risk reduction strategies, implement proactive training programs and to provide assistance with Return to Work functions. The role involves working collaboratively with team members to achieve risk reduction / management, injury prevention and continual improvement
Responsibilities include
- Work closely with all functional teams across the Bostock's supply chain to implement and maintain the health safety and environmental systems
- Support the business with internal and external audits
- Continuously assess the work environment for injury prevention, by engaging employees to work a culture of continuous improvement
- Investigate incidents and workplace injuries
- Prepare reports and KPI information to allow managers to make informed decisions for the business
- Training staff on the Bostock’s HSE practice and safety for life program related training
- Maintaining files and documentation to meet internal and legislative requirements
- Ensure Work Health and Safety compliance at all times.
- Promote and communicate work health, safety and environment matters to relevant staff.
You will bring to this role
- Passionate about driving continuous improvement initiatives, to improve safety, efficiencies and reliability
- Minimum of 3 years experience within a Health & Safety Advisor role
- Related Qualification
- Experience working in a manufacturing or processing environment would be benficial
