FELLR is a lifestyle beverage brand born from the beaches of Sydney during lockdown in 2020, with a simple ambition: to create refreshing drinks that people are genuinely stoked to share with their friends.
In the last six years, FELLR has grown into one of Australia's most loved independent beverage brands. Never doing things the conventional way. From the beginning, FELLR has forged its own path — building a brand that taps into youth culture through music, surf, fashion and art, and forming genuine relationships with partners and brands who share that same spirit.
From taking over some of Australia's best music festivals to partnering with some of the country's most exciting brands — we've recently capped it off by winning the Venues NSW contract, giving us pouring rights at Accor Stadium, CommBank Stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium and WIN Stadium.
Now we're entering a hugely exciting time for the brand. We're expanding nationally, launching an exciting new range of products, and building toward international expansion over the coming years. We want people who are genuinely stoked to wake up every day knowing they're helping build something from the ground up — people who want to have fun doing it, and who care about the craft as much as the results.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is THE on-the-ground brand role at FELLR. You’ll own our relationships across the hero venues, festivals and indie bottle shops that make FELLR what it is. We’ve recently brought on a national distributor who handles the commercial side of things — your job is everything else: the brand, the relationships, the vibe, the moments that make people actually love FELLR, not just stock it.
One day you’re behind the bar getting staff hyped on the range. The next you’re backstage at a festival making sure the activation looks unreal. You love brands, you love being out in the world, and the idea of owning FELLR’s on-ground presence nationally genuinely excites you.
This is your patch to run — your accounts, your calendar, your way of doing it. You report to the Marketing Manager, but the execution is all yours.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
On-premise & venues
- Own FELLR’s brand relationships with our hero venues across Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth — you’re Sydney-based, with regular trips to the others
- Be the face people know and trust — our distributor owns the commercial deal, you own the relationship that makes a venue feel like a real FELLR partner
- Make sure activated accounts actually look the part — right visibility, right vibe, staff who know their stuff
- Run launch events, tap takeovers, sampling nights and venue partnerships from idea to execution
- Get bar staff and bartenders genuinely fired up on the range — Alcoholic Soda, Crush, the Vodka range — so they sell it like they mean it
Festivals & events
- Be the boots-on-the-ground at every festival activation — setting up, running it, managing staff, capturing content, making it look brilliant
- Support the Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator at FELLR brand events and brand partner events
- Show up to trade nights, bartender events and supplier dinners and represent FELLR properly
- Team up with the Marketing Coordinator to capture content on the ground for socials and PR
- Handle the logistics that make it all happen — stock, gear, POS, staffing, run sheets, post-event wrap-ups
Indies retail
- Support activation in our priority indie bottle shops
- Keep execution sharp: POS up, product faced right, displays looking good, promos actually live
- Build real relationships with store owners and managers who become genuine local advocates
- Help run promos and activations that build the case for more ranging — then hand that intel to the distributor team
Brand advocacy & trade education
- Be a genuine FELLR ambassador in every room you walk into — know the product, love the brand, bring credibility
- Build real relationships with bartenders, venue operators and buyers who’ll back FELLR without being asked
- Spot and develop ambassador opportunities in the on-premise world
Field intelligence & reporting
- Report back on what competitors are doing, how activations are landing, and where the opportunities are
- Track how your activations are performing against targets and keep the Marketing Manager in the loop
- Keep account and activation records up to date
- Bring ideas on what’s working and what we should be doing more of
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience
- 3–5 years in field marketing, brand activation, on-premise marketing or an account-facing brand role — drinks, FMCG or lifestyle brands are ideal
- A track record of winning venues over — even without owning the commercial deal
- Hands-on experience running brand activations at events and festivals, start to finish
- Some exposure to independent retail and how indie bottle shops actually operate
- Comfortable working alongside a distributor or wider sales team, adding value without owning the commercial relationship
Skills
- You can walk into any venue, build a genuine connection, and leave as a trusted partner — not just another rep
- Commercially switched on — you get ranging, velocity and what makes an account worth having, even if it’s not you negotiating it
- Self-managing and organised — multiple accounts, multiple states, nothing falls through the cracks
- A natural storyteller — you can pitch FELLR to a venue manager, a buyer or a bartender and sound equally credible to all three
- Content-savvy — you know how to set up a moment that’ll look great on socials, and you’re comfortable directing it
- Genuinely up for evenings, weekends and travel — this role lives in the real world, not behind a desk

- You live in the on-premise world — you know the venues, you know the bartenders, you actually go out
- You care about how FELLR shows up everywhere, not just whether it’s on the shelf
- Brisbane one week, Perth the next? That sounds fun to you, not exhausting

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
