Full Stack Web Developer (Intern)

Job Description

We have on going maintenance and development on FirstClass.com.au, plus several exciting startup projects in the pipeline. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hungry full stack developer intern who is eager to learn and grow across a modern tech stack in a real-world commercial environment.

You’ll be supporting ongoing maintenance and feature development across multiple websites, while getting hands-on experience contributing to new startup projects from the ground up. This is a fantastic opportunity to work across APIs, integrations and back-end systems alongside an experienced team.

Technical Requirements

Some exposure to PHP and a willingness to learn CodeIgniter
Basic understanding of MySQL or MongoDB
Familiarity with Node.js and REST APIs
Awareness of AWS and GitHub
Some experience with Next.js
Exposure to WordPress and WooCommerce is a bonus
Basic HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills
Eagerness to learn, strong work ethic and ability to take direction

Other Requirements:

Fluent English speaker
Excellent communication skills
Full Australian working rights
