Print Operator – Bring Ideas to Life | Vistaprint Melbourne

At Vistaprint, we help millions of small business owners create products that stand out. Our Melbourne production team is looking for a skilled Print Operator (Large Format printing & Digital printing) who takes pride in precision, quality, and efficiency.

What you’ll do:

Set up, calibrate, and operate high-speed digital presses and/or Large Format printing machines (e.g., HP Indigo, Kornits, Epson, Collarado, Canon etc.)
Set up and calibrate printers based on job specifications and order requirements and ensure quick changeovers
Conduct routine daily and weekly maintenance; troubleshoot minor mechanical or software issues to minimize downtime.
Perform constant visual inspections and work with Quality team to ensure color consistency, registration, and lack of defects.
Work closely with the production team to meet daily output targets and deadlines
Troubleshoot minor technical issues and escalate major ones when necessary
Review incoming digital files for accuracy, ensuring resolution, bleed, and color profiles meet production standards.
Support finishing tasks as needed (e.g., trimming, guillotining, padding, binding, die cutting, folding, laminating, UV coating, packing, Scoring and Perforation)
Monitor levels of ink, toner, and substrates, reporting shortages before they become "emergencies."
Follow safety and quality assurance protocols at all times

OHS Responsibilities

Additional information

This role operates within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a pre-employment medical assessment relevant to the role.
