We are currently seeking an experienced Metallurgy Superintendent to join our team for the Laverton Processing Facility. Reporting to the Processing Manager and working an 8/6 roster, this role will initially be based at our Subiaco Head Office for the first couple of months before transitioning to site.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved from the construction and commissioning phase through to operational ramp up, with the Senior Metallurgist playing a key role in process readiness, metallurgical performance, optimisation and establishing the foundations for a safe, efficient and successful processing operation.
As the Metallurgy Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:
- Recovery and throughput optimisation
- Metallurgical accounting and reconciliation
- Commissioning and process readiness
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Compliance, reporting and leadership
- Reagents and consumables budget management
- Water and tailings balance
About You
- Gold processing experience
- Commissioning and ramp up experience
- Metallurgical accounting and reconciliation experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, e.g. Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Mineral Engineering
- Knowledge of Mines Regulation requirements
- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) certification desirable
