Woods & Co Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a prominent Australian-owned promotional products, uniforms and branded merchandise company to recruit a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of their Queensland market.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of an established territory and drive new business for a highly regarded national brand. Working remotely, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new clients across Queensland, building strong relationships and helping businesses bring their brands to life through high-quality promotional products, corporate uniforms, event merchandise and branded solutions.

What you'll do?

Drive new business growth across Queensland through proactive prospecting and relationship building
Identify, qualify and convert new opportunities through outbound activity, referrals and networking
Build relationships with key decision-makers across a wide range of industries
Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with prospective clients throughout Queensland
Prepare tailored quotations, proposals and branded merchandise solutions that meet client needs
Manage your sales pipeline from initial contact through to negotiation and close
Work closely with internal production and customer support teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently exceed sales and gross profit targets
Act as the face of the business in Queensland and contribute to the company's continued national growth

What we're looking for?

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a Business Development or New Business Sales role
Proven success in generating and closing new business opportunities
Strong phone, face-to-face and relationship-building skills
A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or Zoho
Experience within promotional products, branded merchandise, uniforms or a related industry will be highly regarded
Knowledge of decoration methods (pad printing, screen printing, embroidery, engraving) and supplier networks is advantageous
