About the Role

We're looking for a motivated and people-focused People & Culture Coordinator to join our People & Culture team based in Brisbane. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across the full employee lifecycle while building a strong foundation for a long-term career in HR.

As a People & Culture Coordinator, you'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of HR activities, including:

Supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities
Coordinating onboarding and new starter experiences
Assisting with employee recognition and engagement initiatives
Supporting learning and development programs
Contributing to internal communications, including employee newsletters
Assisting with HR projects and employee experience initiatives
Maintaining employee records and HR systems
Supporting compliance, reporting, and administrative processes
Coordinating corporate social responsibility and wellbeing activities

This role offers exposure to multiple areas of HR, making it ideal for someone who wants to develop into a future HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, Talent Specialist, or People & Culture professional.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Studying or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or a related field
Passionate about helping people and creating positive workplace experiences
Organised, detail-oriented and proactive
Confident using Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems
A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Professional and trustworthy when handling confidential information

It's desirable if you have:

Previous administration, customer service, or HR experience
Exposure to HRIS or payroll systems
