We're looking for an experienced Learning and Development Manager to lead QTC's learning and capability agenda. This newly created role will be responsible for shaping and delivering contemporary learning solutions that build organisational capability, enhance employee experience and support QTC's strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Director, Employee Experience, you'll operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, partnering with leaders across the organisation to design, deliver and continuously improve learning initiatives that make a real impact.
What you'll be doing

Lead the development and implementation of QTC's learning and capability strategy.

Partner with executives, leaders and subject matter experts to identify workforce capability needs and translate them into practical learning solutions.

Design, curate and oversee engaging learning experiences, pathways and programs.

Drive continuous improvement across learning processes, systems and governance.

Leverage digital learning, data insights and emerging technologies, including AI, to enhance learning effectiveness and scalability.

Manage learning operations, vendor relationships, program coordination and reporting.

Promote a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing and professional growth across the organisation.

Ensure QTC's Learning Management System remains fit-for-purpose and future-focused.
About you
You'll be an experienced learning and development professional who can balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.
You'll bring:

Significant experience leading learning and development programs in a professional environment.

Experience developing learning strategies, capability frameworks, learning pathways or enterprise-wide learning plans.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships with senior leaders.

Experience partnering with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify capability needs and deliver impactful learning solutions.

Knowledge of contemporary learning practices, digital learning platforms and learning technologies.

A continuous improvement mindset and passion for creating great learner experiences.
Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or a related discipline are required.
