Junior Business, Admin & Marketing Assistant – Solar & Renewable Energy

Location: Castle Hill, Sydney
Employment: Permanent Part-Time
Hours: 16–24 hours per week / 2–3 days
Pay: $28–$30 per hour + super
Ideal for: University students / recent graduates

About the Role

We are a growing Sydney-based solar and renewable energy business working across residential and commercial solar, battery storage and energy projects.

We are looking for a motivated and organised Junior Business, Admin & Marketing Assistant to join our team in Castle Hill.

This role is ideal for a university student or recent graduate looking to gain strong, hands-on business experience while working part-time.

You will work closely with management and gain exposure across administration, customer service, marketing, sales support, CRM, business development and the day-to-day operations of a growing solar company.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

General day-to-day administration
Booking meetings and appointments with clients
Speaking with customers by phone, email and SMS
Managing calendars and following up appointments
Updating CRM systems, customer records and project information
Assisting with solar project administration and documentation
Supporting residential and commercial project coordination
Assisting with lead generation and prospect research
Supporting sales and business development activities
Scheduling and publishing social media content
Assisting with LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
Uploading website blogs and content
Assisting with email marketing campaigns
Organising project photos, videos and marketing content
Tracking enquiries, leads and sales
Assisting management with general day-to-day business tasks

As you become more experienced, there will be opportunities to take ownership of different areas of the business.

Who We’re Looking For

You do not need extensive experience.

We are looking for someone who is:

Organised and reliable
Quick to learn
Confident speaking with customers
Professional in communication & in their conduct since you'll be working in an office environment
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Familiar with social media
Good with written communication
Able to manage multiple tasks
Proactive and willing to take initiative
Interested in learning how a growing business operates

Experience in administration, customer service, marketing, sales or the solar industry is beneficial but not essential.

Training will be provided.

Hours & Flexibility

16–24 hours per week
Approximately 2–3 days per week
Based from our Castle Hill office
Some flexibility around university commitments
Additional hours may become available over time

Pay

$28–$30 per hour + super

Final rate will depend on age, experience and applicable award requirements.

Permanent part-time employees will also receive applicable pro-rata leave entitlements.
