Ongoing, Clerk Grade 7/8 ($116,981 - $129,492 per annum) opportunity based in Mascot, NSW.

About the Role
The Executive Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting Senior Executive/s by providing high-level executive, secretarial and administrative services across a diverse range of complex and sensitive matters. This role requires an experienced Executive Assistant operating at the top of their field, someone who brings exceptional judgement, discretion, initiative and professionalism, with a proven ability to anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and deliver seamless support in a fast-paced executive environment. The successful candidate will be a trusted partner to senior leaders, contributing to the effective achievement of Aboriginal Affairs objectives through outstanding organisation, communication and stakeholder management.
Candidates with experience using Objective, SAP, Microsoft and Excel will be highly regarded.

We're Looking For

Executive support and prioritisation: Act as the Senior Executive/s’ key point of contact by assessing requests, prioritising matters and initiating action with sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality to support the optimal use of the Executive’s time.

Diary, correspondence and meeting coordination: Manage the Executive’s diary, inbox, records, correspondence and travel arrangements, while scheduling and supporting meetings to enable the effective management of the operational area, directorate or division.

High-level written communication: Prepare, coordinate and review complex communications, including submissions, briefing notes and correspondence, to ensure timely and appropriate responses to issues, enquiries and emerging priorities.

Research, analysis and advice: Research, collate and coordinate reports, advice and briefings on complex policy and operational matters to support informed decision-making, planning and delivery of priorities.

Administrative systems and continuous improvement: Monitor, implement and evaluate administrative practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency, improve ways of working and support the delivery of quality outcomes.
