Executive Support & Projects Officer
Advisings and Community Protection – DCJ Legal
Principal location – Parramatta - Flexible working arrangements maybe negotiated.
Employment type – Ongoing – Full time (35 hours)
Salary – Clerk Grade 5/6, Base Salary ($102,936 - $113,579), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
As the Executive Support & Projects Officer, you will play an integral role in supporting the Advisings and Community Protection team within DCJ Legal. Working closely with senior leaders, you will provide executive and secretariat support while coordinating projects that contribute to the delivery of critical legal services. What you’ll do
As part of the Advisings and Community Protection team, you will provide high-quality executive, project and operational support to enable the effective delivery of legal services and strategic priorities.
You will also:
Provide executive and secretariat support, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, papers, minutes and follow-up actions.
Coordinate project activities, monitor milestones and support the successful delivery of team initiatives and operational priorities.
Assist with project planning, implementation, reporting and tracking to ensure deliverables are achieved within agreed timeframes.
Undertake research, analyse information and prepare project briefs, reports and correspondence to support informed decision-making.
Draft strategic communications and other documentation to support divisional and project requirements.
Maintain accurate records, documentation and project information in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate activities, provide project updates and support effective communication.
Provide administrative and operational support to senior leaders, ensuring competing priorities are managed efficiently.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of business processes, project governance and team operations.
Work as part of a collaborative and supportive team that provides specialist legal advice on matters of significant public interest, including criminal justice, statutory decision making and community protection.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience providing executive, project or business support in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate activities and build effective working relationships.
Experience supporting projects through research, reporting, documentation and monitoring project milestones and deliverables.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and work independently while supporting senior leaders.
