About the role
This role sits within the Group Finance team and plays a critical role in supporting pricing decisions, client profitability insights, and commercial analysis across our Corporate Markets and Retirement Solutions businesses.
You’ll work closely with Client Relationship, Product and Strategy teams, using your advanced modelling and analytical capability to support new business, client renewals, and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to support pricing, profitability analysis and commercial decision-making
- Deliver pricing analysis and insights for client renewals, contract variations and new business opportunities
- Analyse client profitability and cost-to-serve, identifying trends and improvement opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Product and Client teams to provide data-driven commercial insights
- Maintain and enhance pricing models, ensuring accuracy, scalability and alignment with methodology
- Leverage market data and competitor benchmarks to inform pricing strategy and positioning
- Support governance processes including pricing committee preparation, documentation and tracking actions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools and reporting frameworks
About you
- 4+ years’ experience in an analytical finance role (e.g., pricing, FP&A, commercial finance, or profitability analysis)
- Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability (essential)
- Experience using Power BI (or similar tools) to analyse and visualise data
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and generate clear insights
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to validate assumptions and reconcile outputs
- Confident communicator able to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Commercially focused with a proactive, “can-do” approach
