About the Role:
Very few teams can say they are responsible for shaping the future direction of a large organisation—and the Quality, Safety and Governance team is one of them. This team plays a pivotal role in leading and supporting the development and implementation of organisation-wide strategy, communications and related projects. It provides leadership for quality and safety assurance, systems and processes, and supports clinical and operational areas across CHS to deliver exceptional health care.
The team encompasses a broad portfolio, including Quality and Safety, National Standards and Accreditation, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance, Medico Legal, Strategic Communications, Policy, Consumer Handouts, Corporate Records, and Strategic Projects.
Within this, the Policy and Consumer Handouts team sits in the Policy and Strategic Projects area, which leads and supports the development and implementation of organisation-wide strategy, policy, and related projects. This is a highly collaborative and supportive team, offering opportunities to work on challenging and complex issues that have a meaningful impact on our local community.
The Policy Coordinator role works within this dynamic team to inform, educate and support policy development and governance processes across CHS. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to both strategic and operational policy—playing a direct role in maintaining high standards of care and improving health outcomes for our community.
