Details: The Health and Community Services Directorate is seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support two Executive Branch Managers leading the Procurement and Sector Funding and Governance, Assurance and Risk branches. These teams deliver critical services and functions that support the Directorate and the broader ACT community. As an Executive Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of executive activities by managing complex diaries, coordinating meetings and events, preparing briefing materials and agendas, and overseeing executive correspondence and inbox management. You will also provide administrative support through invoice processing, branch financial administration, travel coordination, information management, and business support activities, including managing stationery and IT requests. Working closely with other executive support staff, you will contribute to a collaborative approach that delivers seamless support across the Division.
We are looking for someone with experience in administrative or executive support within a fast-paced environment who enjoys being at the centre of a busy workplace. You will have excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities while remaining calm and professional under pressure. You will be comfortable working within established processes while demonstrating initiative, adaptability and sound judgement when circumstances change.
The successful applicant will have strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams, along with the ability to use information management systems such as TRIM/Objective. You will be an effective communicator who builds positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders across the Directorate and ACT Government.
