About the Role
The Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (SC&SE) team has an exciting short-term (11-week) EOI opportunity for a dynamic 5/6 Executive Support Officer for the period 10 August – 23 October 2026 inclusive. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to gain experience supporting an enabling function or working for a regulator.
As the Executive Support Officer, you will provide support across a range of complex issues and teams, in a face paced environment, working closely with the Director.
This role provides high-level executive and secretariat support to the Director. The role also provides overall business support services including project support and coordination, customer enquiries, reporting, financial management to help maintain the efficient and effective operation of the directorate.

In this role you will:

Support the director and team in achieving SIRA, divisional and directorate objectives

Communicate with internal and external stakeholder

Proactively manage diaries, meetings and schedules
-
Review submissions, briefing notes and correspondence and respond to issues and enquiries

Organise office and personnel logistics

Collate and coordinate reports

Strong communication skills both verbal and written

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, eApprovals and Trim

Experience as an Executive Support Officer or within a similar administrative position
Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders both internally and externally.
