Loan Kit Technician

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Loan Kit Technician to join our Port Melbourne team. In this fast-paced role, you'll be responsible for preparing, maintaining and coordinating surgical loan kits and instrument sets to ensure they are delivered accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing
Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures
Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use
Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system
Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure they are complete and fully functional
Work closely with Territory Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain and hospital customers to meet surgical requirements
Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities
Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting
Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment
Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required
Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts
To be successful, you will have:
At least 2 years' experience within a Loan Set, Medical Devices, Sterilisation Services, Theatre Stores or similar hospital environment
Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control
Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
Strong organisational and time management skills
A proactive, "can-do" attitude
The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy

Additional Requirements
Participation in an on-call roster
Some out-of-hours work as required
Availability for two weekend stocktakes/cycle counts each year
A current Australian driver's licence
