Bakery Assistant/Packer (Casual/Part-Time) – Milk and Bloom

Location: Parramatta
Hours: Flexible, with availability on Weekdays & Weekends

About Us

Milk and Bloom is a small business in Australia making freshly handmade lactation cookies and brownies to support breastfeeding mums. We take pride in creating delicious, high-quality treats with love and care. As we grow, we’re looking for a Bakery Assistant/Packer to join our team and help with day-to-day production and order fulfilment.

About the Role

As a Bakery Assistant/Packer, you’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, assisting with various tasks to keep things running smoothly. Your main responsibilities will include:

Baking Prep: Rolling cookie dough, measuring ingredients, and assisting with simple kitchen tasks.
Packing Orders: Carefully packing cookies and brownies for shipping or pickup.
Stock Management: Keeping track of ingredients, refilling supplies, and ensuring packaging materials are stocked.
General Cleaning: Keeping the kitchen tidy, washing dishes, and maintaining hygiene standards.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re after someone who is:
-Reliable, hardworking, and has good attention to detail.
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
-Able to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
-A team player with a positive attitude.
-Previous kitchen or bakery experience is a plus, but not required!
