If you're looking to make the move into a Multi-Billion Turnover, ASX Top 100-listed company and build real technical and accounting experience, this opportunity isn't one to be missed.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Team Leader, you'll use your technical accounting expertise to ensure our financial results are accurate, compliant and delivered on time. You'll take ownership of month-end reporting, balance sheet integrity and the close process, while owning key projects and supporting broader business initiatives along the way.
This is a genuine seat inside the business. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller, external auditors and the wider Corporate Finance team, and you'll collaborate closely with internal teams across Global Finance Reporting, Tax, Legal and Banking/Treasury. You'll have real input into how our reporting processes are run. We trust you to run your own work, so you won't be watched over or measured by the hours you clock. You'll be measured by the quality and accuracy of what you deliver. And because we're a high transactional volume business with real data infrastructure behind us, you'll have room to improve and automate rather than just maintain, so the technically strong don't go backwards.
Here's where we're different. We back your qualification and pay for your CA or CPA membership and completion of your CA/CPA studies, and we invest in an individualised learning and development pathway plus full access to Learning. We also promote from within, fast. Our finance leaders didn't come in at the top, they grew here. With hundreds of finance leaders across 28 countries, the path from Financial Accountant to senior finance roles is real, well-trodden and closer than you'd think. And it's global. As you progress, there are genuine opportunities to move across countries and brands. This isn't a single office with a ceiling. It's a network, and your career can travel through it. We support flexibility, and we believe the best work and the best development happen when the team comes together, so we love having our people in the office and collaborating in person.
Day to day you will...
