Reporting to the Financial Controller, Funds Management, you'll play a key role in the financial reporting, governance and performance oversight of a portfolio of managed funds, joint ventures and mandates. You'll partner closely with Fund Managers and senior stakeholders, providing financial insights that support decision-making and investment outcomes.
The Opportunity
- Lead the financial reporting and analysis for a portfolio of managed funds, joint ventures and mandates.

Oversee month-end close, unit pricing, distributions, investor reporting inputs and performance reporting.

Manage the preparation of financial statements and compliance reporting.

Coordinate and manage the end-to-end external audit process.

Support tax compliance activities including BAS, tax returns and distribution reviews.

Ensure strong financial controls, governance frameworks and compliance processes are maintained, including maintaining the effective operation of controls within the GS0007 framework.

Partner with Fund Managers, Asset Managers, Property Accounting, Tax and Treasury teams to provide commercial insights and recommendations.

Support treasury activities including cashflow management, debt compliance and reporting.

Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging automation, AI and digital solutions to enhance reporting and operational efficiency.

Coach and provide guidance to offshore service providers and support a collaborative, high-performing finance culture.
About You
To be successful, you will bring:
- CA or CPA qualification.

8+ years' experience within funds management, managed investment schemes, trusts, property funds or a related environment.

Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and controls experience.

Exposure across tax, treasury and broader finance functions.

Previous people leadership experience, including working with offshore service providers.

Advanced Excel and financial systems capability.

Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.

Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
