The Opportunity

One of the greatest assets of the Lactalis business is the strength of its portfolio of iconic Australian dairy brands which include strong national brands such as Pauls, Oak, Vaalia, Tamar Valley, Jalna and Ice Break.

An exciting opportunity exists in our Lactalis marketing team in the role of Senior Brand Manager within our Yoghurts portfolio. This includes a key role in the strategic marketing of some of our key Yoghurt brands within the Yoghurts portfolio including Pauls PLUS+ Protein and Tamar Valley Dairy.

Working in the Yoghurts and Desserts Division, this role will be responsible for building, growing and driving the brand strategy for these brands by applying a creative approach to convert insights into brand growth. Key measures of the role will be achieving strong brand health whilst generating strong growth in sales, market share and commercial return.

Some key responsibilities of the role will be:

Developing, communicating and implementing strategic marketing plans that deliver optimal results
Developing and ensuring the timely delivery of key brand activities as defined in the annual marketing plan
Leading the media and communications strategy to optimise the brand performance in market
Leading multi-departmental project teams in the development of new products, managing the budget and the timeline and working closely with R&D, Industrial and Commercial Teams
Delivering innovation projects to achieve a targeted innovation rate, working in conjunction with our Innovation and CSR Manager
Working closely with our Brand Experience Manager to deliver outstanding activations in partnership with our retailers

To be successful you will have a minimum of 5+ years of marketing & brand management experience (preferably within FMCG), as well as having a Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Commerce. In addition to a strong marketing acumen, the successful applicant will also be a skilled project manager, have strong commercial and financial capability and be a great collaborator.

A demonstrated experience in guiding brand strategy within a large organisation would be an advantage.

This is a 12 month contract role that can be based in either Scoresby or Brisbane.
