About Us

We're a busy neighbourhood café in the heart of Williamstown, known for quality coffee, fresh food, and genuine hospitality. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers and fostering a supportive, team-first culture where everyone works together to deliver an exceptional café experience.

About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Floor/Waitstaff member to join our team. You'll be the face of our café, providing friendly and attentive service, ensuring every customer has a great experience from the moment they arrive until they leave. If you're energetic, love working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Welcome and seat customers with a warm, friendly attitude
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system
Deliver food and drinks efficiently while ensuring excellent presentation
Provide attentive table service and anticipate customer needs
Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean dining area
Process cash and EFTPOS payments accurately
Assist with opening and closing duties
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety throughout the café
Work closely with the kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth service during busy periods

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment preferred
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Friendly, positive, and professional attitude
Ability to multitask and remain calm during busy service periods
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Current RSA and/or Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Availability to work mornings, weekends, and public holidays
