We are looking for a National Sales Manager to take the reins, energise our field sales teams, and deliver benchmark-setting growth.

This isn't just about managing a team; it's about owning a high-profile national portfolio. You will step into a high-visibility leadership role, working shoulder-to-shoulder with senior stakeholders at Origin Energy to design and execute sales strategies that dominate the market.

Your Impact:

Drive National Strategy: Architect and execute the overarching national sales roadmap to smash revenue targets, SLAs, and program KPIs.
Empower High-Performing Teams: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-octane network of Team Leaders and Business Sales Representatives (BSRs) across Australia.
Be the Origin Champion: Build deep, influential relationships with key executive stakeholders at Origin Energy, ensuring total alignment on market opportunities and customer needs.
Master the Sales Lifecycle: Utilise sharp commercial instincts and data insights to refine the end-to-end sales process and uncover new growth avenues.
Shape Market Presence: Keep your finger on the pulse of market shifts, competitor moves, and emerging energy trends to keep Origin steps ahead of the competition.

About You: What You Bring to the Table

You’re a dynamic, resilient, and forward-thinking sales executive who knows how to inspire field teams and manage large-scale accounts.

Proven B2B Leadership: 5+ years of B2B direct sales management, with demonstrated success leading field teams across multiple states/locations.
Strategic Influence: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills - you know how to pitch, influence, and command a room.
Target-Obsessed: A stellar track record of consistently outperforming commercial goals and managing major portfolios.
Data & Tech Smart: Highly competent with CRMs, sales analytics, and leveraging reporting to optimise performance.
Agile & Driven: Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving landscape where change brings opportunity.
Must-Haves: Current valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Bonus Points: Energy sector experience is a major plus, but high-performing sales leaders from Telecommunications, Finance, or broader B2B channels are strongly encouraged to apply!
