The role:
At Adbri Masonry, we’re looking for an experienced Commercial Manager / Sales Manager to lead our Victorian sales team and play a key role in growing our business across the state.
Based at Campbellfield, this is a senior commercial leadership role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact. You'll lead a team of sales professionals, develop and execute growth strategies, manage key customer relationships, and drive performance across the region. This role offers genuine scope to innovate and transform!
What you'll be doing:
Reporting to the Manager Masonry Southern Region, you’ll lead the Victorian commercial team and take ownership of the region’s sales performance, customer relationships and growth strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

Lead, coach and develop a team of five Sales Representatives, driving capability and accountability.

Develop and execute commercial strategies to grow revenue, volume, margin and market share across Victoria.

Use sales data, forecasting and market insights to identify opportunities and improve commercial performance.

Oversee quoting, pricing and major project opportunities, balancing competitiveness with margin.

Build strong relationships with key customers, builders, developers and industry stakeholders.

Act as the escalation point for complex customer and commercial issues.

Partner with Operations, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and Technical teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.

Identify new products, customer segments and innovative ways to drive growth.

Drive commercial excellence, sales best practice, continuous improvement and CRM adoption across the team.

Manage the commercial budget and provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Proven experience leading a sales or commercial team, with a strong track record of delivering growth.

Solid commercial acumen, including experience with pricing, margins, quoting, forecasting and analysing sales performance.

Experience in building materials, construction, manufacturing or another related industry is highly regarded.

Strong customer and stakeholder management, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.

Data-driven and commercially minded, with the ability to turn insights into action and make sound business decisions.

Collaborative and hands-on leader who coaches and develops teams, embraces new ideas and balances strategic thinking with execution.

A current driver's licence.
