Information Security Analyst

Key Responsibilities
Security Monitoring and Incident Response
- Monitor security events, alerts, and logs generated from security monitoring platforms and infrastructure.
- Investigate and analyse cybersecurity incidents and suspicious activities to determine the root cause and potential impact.
- Document incident findings and recommend remediation actions to reduce security risks.
- Support incident response activities and coordinate remediation efforts where required.
Vulnerability and Patch Management
- Perform vulnerability assessments across endpoints, infrastructure, and application environments.
- Identify and track security vulnerabilities across systems, repositories, and network infrastructure.
- Assist in patch management and remediation processes to reduce exposure to security threats.
Security Infrastructure and Platform Administration
- Implement, configure, and maintain security tools and platforms, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Unified Endpoint Management (UEM), and cloud security monitoring tools such as AWS Security Hub.
- Monitor the security posture of cloud and internal environments to ensure systems remain secure and compliant.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for security platform maintenance and improvements.
Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Assist in developing and maintaining information security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Support implementation and maintenance of security frameworks, including ISO 27001.
- Maintain security documentation, operational runbooks, and audit evidence to support compliance requirements.
- Conduct security risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
Security Awareness and Training
- Deliver cybersecurity awareness training programs across the organisation.
- Promote security best practices and assist in maintaining security awareness platforms and training materials.
Continuous Security Improvement
- Conduct periodic security reviews of systems and infrastructure.
- Recommend improvements to strengthen security controls and operational resilience.
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and tools to enhance organisational security capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in information security, cybersecurity operations, or security risk management roles.
- Experience with security monitoring tools, vulnerability management, and cloud environments is desirable.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous

Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
