Pharmacy QLD - Other Full Time Slade Pharmacy

Key Points

Employment Types: Permanent, full-time.
Shift Information: Weekend and participation in on-call roster required.
Location: Slade Pharmacy Toowoomba, located inside St. Andrew’s Toowoomba Hospital.
Who we’re looking for: Registered Pharmacists with at least 1 year practice experience. Work across both retail and hospital pharmacy. Hospital experience not required, Community Pharmacists are welcome to apply.

About the Role
As a Pharmacist within a hospital and retail setting, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality clinical pharmacy services that support safe and effective patient care. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you’ll apply and further develop your clinical expertise in a supportive and fast‑paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting.
Dispensing medication in a retail setting with a focus on professional services including vaccinations
Conduct medication history interviews and reconciliation at transitions of care.
Provide medication counselling and education to patients.
Monitor medication outcomes and manage adverse drug reactions.
Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals to provide the best patient care.
Participate in training sessions for pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff.
Support quality use of medicines through various audits and projects.

About You
Whether you’re an early career Pharmacist looking to take the next step into hospital practice, or an experienced Hospital/Clinical Pharmacist seeking a fresh environment and new challenges, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential requirements:

Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice
Permanent Australian working rights.
Minimum 1-year Australian Pharmacist experience.
Personal Indemnity insurance.
