Your new role
Are you a proactive and organised administrator with a passion for supporting others? We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Support Officer to join the Curtin Medical School (CMS), home to WA’s only undergraduate medical degree.

This is a role with variety, impact, and connection. You will be right at the heart of our growing Medical school, supporting everything from student events to behind-the-scenes logistics - all while being a friendly face to staff, students and visitors.

Your day might include:

Keeping our bustling Building 410 humming - from kitchen supplies to room bookings.
Managing inboxes, answering queries, and being our front-line support.
Organising catering, and guest logistics for exciting events like Simulated Patient sessions, GP showcases and award nights.
Helping with finance admin - processing requisitions, purchase orders and invoices.
Supporting our CMS programs like Dr YES and Mental Health First Aid workshops.
Rolling up your sleeves to assist with orientation, placement information nights, and our Year 5 Award Night.

About You
Selection Criteria
We’re looking for someone who brings:

A strong sense of initiative and a customer service mindset
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook for calendar/email coordination
A collaborative attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative role. Experience in the higher education or health sector will be highly regarded.

Role Requirements:
1. As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
2. Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction
