At Otis, it’s our people that make us different. </p><p>Join the Otis family where collaboration, innovation and empowerment help each individual and the company reach new heights. </p><p></p><p>We are looking for <b>Construction Technicians</b> to be based in and around <b>Adelaide, South Australia.</b></p><p></p><h2>About You </h2><p>You will be the face of the OTIS brand and responsible for installing lifts, escalators, and travelators in compliance with the relevant codes and Otis specifications and procedures. </p><p></p><p>This permanent role will be reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters & Field Engineers as well as Construction Coordinators. </p><ul><li><p>Permanent role</p></li><li><p>Reports to the Construction Project Manager</p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Key Responsibilities </h2><ul><li><p>Install and Modernise lifts, escalators, and travelators and work to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets. </p></li><li><p>Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager. </p></li><li><p>Occasional travel to regional Adelaide.</p></li><li><p>Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes. </p></li><li><p>Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property. </p></li><li><p>Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards and maintain and work to the Quality System. </p></li><li><p>Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact on the environment or any employee. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2>What You Will Need To Be Successful </h2><ul><li><p>Have an Electrical trade qualification or equivalent experience<i>.</i></p></li><li><p>Min 5 years as a Construction Technician.</p></li><li><p>Have working at heights, Rigging and Dogging experience.</p></li><li><p>Hold a valid driver's license.</p></li><li><p>Be available for occasional travel to regional Adelaide.</p></li><li><p>Enjoys communicating with various stakeholders at different levels and working closely with others in the field. </p></li><li><p>Solutions-oriented, independent, and well-organized. </p></li><li><p>Willing to travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised. </p></li><li><p>Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training. </p></li><li><p>Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete them in a timely manner. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Key Benefits </h2><ul><li><p>Competitive compensation and benefits packages as per the latest EBA</p></li><li><p>Be part of the Forbes 2025 World's Best Employers. </p></li><li><p>Meaningful career opportunities for people to grow through excellent learning programs. </p></li></ul><p></p><h2>Apply today and help us build what's next</h2><p></p><p>If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day. </p><p></p><p>Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
