As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse to join our community nursing team on a casual basis.
About the Role
This is a community-based nursing role providing clinical care to NDIS participants, Home Care Package recipients and private clients within their homes.
You will work autonomously while collaborating with clients, families, support workers, GPs and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in clients' homes.
- Develop, implement and evaluate person-centred care plans.
- Deliver a range of community nursing services.
- Complete accurate clinical documentation and reports.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and external healthcare providers.
- Educate clients, carers and support staff on clinical care needs.
- Maintain compliance with AHPRA standards, infection prevention practices and organisational policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous community nursing experience.
- Excellent clinical assessment and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current National Police Check.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Full Australian working rights.
Highly Desirable
- Experience completing continence assessments and clinical reports.
- Continence management experience.
- Experience supporting NDIS participants.
- Wound care experience.
- Catheter management (IDC, SPC and ISC).
- Experience working with clients with complex clinical needs.

Pay: $70,264.15 – $144,840.21 per year
