Guided by our values of Compassion, Justice, Integrity and Excellence, more than 30,000 employees come together each day to make a genuine difference. When you join St Vincent's, you'll become part of a purpose-driven organisation dedicated to shaping a better and fairer health and aged care system for all.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced UKG Support Specialist to join our Group Payroll Strategy & Delivery team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong UKG/Kronos experience who enjoys solving problems, supporting end users and improving the day-to-day experience of workforce management systems.
As a key member of the UKG Support team, you'll provide practical system support to managers and employees across the organisation, helping resolve enquiries, troubleshoot issues and promote best-practice use of UKG. You'll also contribute to training activities, create simple user resources and identify opportunities to improve system capability and user adoption.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go-to expert for UKG and takes pride in delivering outstanding customer service.
What You'll Do
Provide day-to-day support for UKG system enquiries from managers and employees.
Troubleshoot issues relating to rostering, timecards, leave, schedules, approvals and workforce management processes.
Investigate and resolve complex UKG queries, escalating where appropriate.
Guide users through UKG functionality to improve confidence and self-sufficiency.
Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs and simple support resources.
Deliver practical system demonstrations and user education where required.
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to processes, documentation and system usage.
Support payroll accuracy through effective workforce management practices.
Assist with system testing, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work collaboratively with Payroll, HR and key stakeholders to enhance the overall user experience.
About You
You have hands-on experience supporting workforce management systems and enjoy helping people solve problems.
You are customer focused, technically capable and confident working with UKG/Kronos. Rather than being a professional trainer, you're someone who enjoys providing practical support, explaining system functionality in simple terms and helping users confidently navigate day-to-day processes.
Key Experience & Capability
Demonstrated experience supporting UKG/Kronos or a similar workforce management system.
Strong understanding of rostering, time and attendance, leave management and payroll processes.
Experience providing first and second-level system support to managers and employees.
Proven ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
