About the role
We're looking for an experienced change professional to lead the people side of one of Coles' largest operational transformation programs.
The Future Store Rostering (FSR) program is replacing our legacy workforce management platform with UKG Dimensions, delivering a modern workforce management solution that will transform how more than 100,000 team members across approximately 850 stores are rostered, scheduled and supported.
This 24-month secondment opportunity will see you lead the strategy and execution of change across a complex, multi-year technology program, ensuring our store leaders and team members are equipped, engaged and ready as we progressively deploy the solution across Australia.
This is a highly visible leadership role that will work across Operations, Technology, People & Culture, Payroll and Program Delivery to ensure successful adoption of one of Coles' most significant business transformation initiatives.
You will

Develop and lead the end-to-end change strategy for the Future Store Rostering program.

Build, lead and mentor high-performing Change and Deployment teams throughout the life of the program.

Scale the deployment function from initial planning through to a national rollout team of 30+ resources.

Lead stakeholder engagement across Executive leadership, Store Operations, P&C, Payroll, Technology and Program teams.

Own all communication, learning, deployment and adoption activities to ensure successful implementation across approximately 850 stores.

Develop deployment strategies and execution plans to support staged state-by-state implementation.

Partner closely with business and technology leaders to minimise operational disruption while driving successful adoption.

Monitor adoption, engagement and change outcomes, using data and feedback to continuously improve the deployment approach.

Coach senior leaders and operational stakeholders to build visible sponsorship and sustained adoption.

Ensure change activities are aligned with overall program delivery and implementation milestones.
About you and your skills
You are an experienced enterprise Change leader who has successfully delivered large-scale technology transformations across complex, operationally intensive organisations.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, understand the realities of frontline retail operations, and know how to translate complex technology change into practical outcomes for leaders and team members.
You will bring

Extensive experience leading organisational change for complex enterprise technology transformation programs.

Proven experience leading large-scale retail or multi-site operational change programs.

Experience building and leading high-performing Change and Deployment teams through all phases of program delivery.

Demonstrated success delivering staged, multi-wave implementations across geographically dispersed locations.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leaders through to frontline operational teams.

Strong leadership experience across communications, learning, deployment and adoption activities.

Experience partnering with Technology, HR, Payroll and Operations teams to deliver integrated business outcomes.

Excellent communication, facilitation and leadership skills, with the ability to simplify complex change for operational audiences.
Essential experience

Experience delivering enterprise Workforce Management, Rostering, Scheduling or Payroll technology implementations.

Strong understanding of workforce management practices within large retail or frontline operational environments.

Experience working within Australian award-based rostering environments and the operational impacts of workforce management technology.

Demonstrated experience delivering change across large, distributed workforces.
Highly regarded

Experience implementing UKG Dimensions (Workforce Pro), UKG Pro Workforce Management (formerly Kronos), or a closely related Workforce Management platform.

Experience within supermarket, retail, distribution or other large frontline workforce organisations.
