Help Deliver a Five-Star Guest Experience in a Luxury Hotel Environment

About the Role

Challenger Services Group is seeking Part-Time Public Area Cleaners to join our hospitality team at one of Sydney's leading 5-star hotels. You'll play a vital role in ensuring public spaces are immaculate, safe, and ready to welcome guests.

This is an excellent opportunity to build your hospitality career while working in a luxury hotel environment with a supportive team and opportunities for growth.

Available Shifts: Flexible Daytime or Overnight Shifts Available

Location: Sydney CBD, NSW

What You'll Be Doing

As a Public Area Cleaner, you'll be responsible for:

Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of hotel lobbies, corridors, lifts, restrooms, and guest-facing public areas.
Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, and maintained to five-star standards.
Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
Assisting with the overall appearance and guest experience of the hotel.
Working closely with housekeeping and hotel management teams.
Following all workplace safety, cleaning, and operational procedures.
Delivering exceptional attention to detail throughout every shift.

About You

You'll be someone who:

Takes pride in maintaining high cleaning and presentation standards.
Has previous cleaning, housekeeping, public area, or hospitality experience (preferred but not essential).
Enjoys working independently while also contributing to a team environment.
Is reliable, punctual, and committed to quality work.
Has strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Has flexibility to work day, overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required.
Can work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Holds a Food Handler Basics Certificate (preferred but not essential).
