Full-time, Fixed Term position until 31st January 2027
Salary Level HEW 6 + 17% Superannuation
Based at the Melbourne CBD campus, but may be required to work and/or be based at other campuses of the University

About the role

The Content Coordinator is responsible for creation, optimisation and personalisation of digital content for RMIT University's key acquisition and brand campaigns.

The role requires excellence in writing, editing and digital content coordination, as well as the ability to assist with coordinating a wide range of projects within Global Marketing and Student Recruitment.

The Content Coordinator works with and provides support to the Content Manager.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

Proven strategic writing experience for marketing or communications.
Demonstrated ability to determine potential opportunities to promote RMIT and its staff and students, via traditional and digital channels.
Demonstrated ability to write and edit complex documents; manage editorial tasks for print and the web.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proof-reading.
Excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
Strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and ability to contribute to creative ideation.
Proven commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships, and provide constructive feedback to stakeholders – internal and external, etc.
High degree of computer literacy, including Microsoft platforms and content management systems.

Tertiary qualification in journalism, marketing, communications or a related field is highly desirable.

Experience in Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics are desirable.

Please Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.
