Objective
The Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of agreed marketing initiatives for TGI Fridays in accordance with the broader marketing strategy.
The role plays a key part in helping the marketing function build brand equity, drive sales, and increase profit across the TGI Fridays network.
The role connects planning to execution: bringing campaigns and activations to life across venues, coordinating the day-to-day operational rhythm of the marketing team, and providing reliable support to the TGIF brand team and wider business.
What You Will Be Doing
Campaign Delivery & Execution

Assist in the development and execution of consumer promotions, marketing campaigns, and events in line with the agreed TGIF marketing plan

Contribute to the development of briefs for creative, media, PR, and other agency partners as required

Contribute to creative concept development for venue activations, events, and on-the-ground campaign moments

Support new venue openings, refurbishments, and menu launches end to end, including venue listing setup (OrderUp, app, website), launch communications, and post-launch reporting on visitation, bookings, and loyalty sign-ups

Help bring guest experience initiatives to life across the venue network, ensuring consistent execution against brand standards
Marketing Operations & Coordination

Maintain the TGIF POS schedule and manage repeat ordering for all venue collateral requests, ensuring venues are supplied with the right materials at the right time

Develop internal communications to inform the broader team on marketing campaigns, launches, and initiatives

Support venue managers, franchise partners, and BDMs with day-to-day marketing requests and requirements

Manage day-to-day updates across TGIF’s digital properties, including the website CMS, app content, digital signage platform, event and other consumer-facing platforms

Assisting to brief and execute new products, offers, discounts and other promotional campaigns alongside the wider team

Build effective working relationships across the Signature Hospitality business, including Operations, Culinary, and Procurement teams

Coordinate promotional activity across public holidays and major calendar events, ensuring venues, systems, and surcharges are set correctly and reverted on time
Budget Tracking & Administration

Support the TGIF marketing budget reconciliation through accurate invoice tracking, coding, and processing

Manage all coordinated activity to agreed budgets, flagging risks or overspend early

Maintain accurate records and documentation for marketing activity, supplier engagements, and approvals

Liaise with Finance to ensure timely processing of supplier payments and resolution of any invoice queries
Local Area Marketing Support

Support local area marketing across the venue network to drive incremental revenue and maximise the return on every marketing dollar spent

Work ahead of the calendar to develop and share quarterly local area marketing plans by venue, giving teams clear direction and the lead time to deliver

Receive briefs and requests from venues, franchise partners, and BDMs, actioning them promptly and in line with brand standards and SOPs alongside the wider team

Planning and delivering alongside our partners our calendar of in-venue activities, including Bingo and Trivia as well as additional seasonal activations

Work in conjunction with third parties, such as centre management or delivery platforms, to drive additional revenue through approved quarterly calendars and promotions

Report on local area marketing activity and outcomes against agreed KPIs to ensure our efforts are effective and spend is working hard
Insights & Continuous Improvement

Monitor campaign and promotion effectiveness against agreed KPIs, support post-campaign analysis, and contribute recommendations based on key learnings

Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, sharing observations and recommendations to keep TGIF ahead of the competitive set

Promote best practice within the Marketing department and continuously improve processes, templates, and ways of working
What You Will Bring

2 to 3 years marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, FMCG, or a consumer-facing brand

Tertiary qualification in marketing or a related field

Demonstrated experience supporting marketing campaigns end to end, with a track record of strong attention to detail and execution

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across head office, venues, and partners

Highly organised, comfortable managing multiple deadlines and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment. A genuine interest in food, hospitality, and consumer brands is highly regarded.

Additional Information
This is a fulltime role based in Melbourne. Whilst primarily Monday to Friday, some evening or weekend work may be required, along with occasional interstate or regional travel.
