About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Product Developer to join the Nude Lucy team and play a key role in bringing our collections to life.
Working closely with Design, Production and Garment Technicians, you'll manage the product development process from concept through to final shipment sample, ensuring every product meets Nude Lucy's premium quality standards while delivering commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about creating elevated womenswear.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage the end-to-end product development process from initial concept through to final shipment samples.
- Create and maintain detailed tech packs, bills of materials (BOMs), artwork, trim, labelling and fabric specifications.
- Liaise with offshore suppliers and factories throughout the development lifecycle.
- Coordinate and approve fabric, trim and lab dip submissions.
- Manage cross-costing, cross-sourcing and price negotiations to achieve margin targets.
- Attend product fittings (PROTO, SMS and PP), updating tech packs and communicating changes to suppliers.
- Ensure all product development documentation is accurate and reflects final approved product details before bulk production.
- Partner with the Production team to review and approve bulk production submissions following order placement.
- Support quality assurance processes, including fabric testing and pre-production quality checks.
- Collaborate with Design, Production and Garment Technicians to continually improve product quality and development processes.
- Respond to trade performance by implementing changes and improvements throughout the development pipeline.
What You'll Bring
- 5 years' experience in a Product Development role within women's fashion.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrication and the end-to-end product development process.
- Experience working with offshore manufacturers and managing supplier relationships.
- Proven ability to negotiate cost prices and deliver commercial outcomes.
- Experience with quality assurance processes, fabric testing and production approvals.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across Design, Production and Technical teams.
- A genuine passion for women's fashion, premium product and delivering exceptional quality.
