About the Role
This is not just another operator position.
We're looking for an experienced excavator operator who wants responsibility, and the opportunity to help shape a crew from the ground up.
You'll be trusted to deliver quality work, lead by example, and help set the standard for the team as this new division grows.
You won't just be jumping in a machine and waiting for instructions. You'll be helping create the culture, standards, and reputation of a new part of the business.

- Rock excavation — our specialty
- 1.8 tonne - 14 tonne ecavators

Who We're Looking For
Straight up — we're looking for a leader.
Someone other operators want to work beside. Someone who takes pride in the work, backs their crew, and shows up every day ready to perform.
You don't need to be the loudest person on site, but you do need to be accountable, disciplined, and confident enough to take charge when it matters.
We're after someone who can set the pace, keep standards high, communicate clearly, and help bring the crew with them.

You Will Bring
- Solid time in the seat
- Minimum 3-5 years of excavator operating experience
- Accountability
- Rock excavation experience highly regarded
- Final trim and detailed excavation experience
- The discipline to work unsupervised
- The presence to lead and support a crew
- A reliable, professional attitude
- A reputation for showing up every day ready to go
- Pride in clean, accurate, high-quality work
- Strong communication and decision-making on site
