About the role

This position is essential for maintaining the quality and safety of construction sites, contributing to the overall success of projects in Victoria. The Grader Operator will work closely with site managers/supervisors and other operators to achieve optimal results.
Key responsibilities:

Operate and maintain grading machinery to prepare land for construction.
- Ensure accurate grading and levelling of surfaces according to project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with site supervisors/managers and other team members to coordinate grading activities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on site.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
About You
This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:

Proven experience as a Grader Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Valid driver's licence and relevant machinery operating certifications.
- Strong understanding of grading techniques and construction site safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Final trim experience is a must
- Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices
- Flexibility & willingness to complete a diverse range of duties
- Construction induction white card
- Willingness to work remotely/regionally
