About the role
This role plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of traffic and pedestrians across the City of Parramatta LGA. You’ll apply your technical expertise, regulatory knowledge and stakeholder engagement skills to deliver high‑quality traffic and transport outcomes that support Council’s strategic objectives and statutory obligations.

In this role you will:

Process traffic and transport service requests and process relevant permits.
Provide technical advice and prepare high‑quality reports and correspondence for complex, sensitive and multidisciplinary traffic projects.
Prepare plans using AutoCAD and issue instructions for traffic signage and line marking.
Deliver innovative and effective traffic solutions aligned with Council strategies, legislation and community expectations.
Represent Council in key forums, including the Transport Forum, Community drop-in session.
Identify, initiate and support traffic and transport projects in collaboration with internal teams.
Communicate technical information clearly to staff, stakeholders and the community.

We offer a competitive remuneration package from $108,795.03 to $119,781.85 plus 12% superannuation .
