Date Posted:2026-05-12Country: AustraliaLocation: LOC7057: Unit 3 130 Frederick Street, Welland, Adelaide SA 5007, AustraliaCome and join Otis today, and be part of the OTIS Family and Forbes 2025 World's Best Employers<h2>About you</h2>We are seeking a Service Technician based in the Adelaide, South Australia.In this role, you will work closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Trade Assistants, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators.<ul><li>Permanent role</li><li>Adelaide portfolio</li><li>Reports to the Service Manager</li></ul><h2>Key Responsibilities for You</h2><ul><li>Performs Service and Maintenance work in accordance with relevant job procedures, technical articles, and operations manuals.</li><li>Stand by and provide after-call-back coverage as needed.</li><li>Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to meet customer satisfaction.</li><li>Electrical and Mechanical training to apprentices and subcontractors.</li><li>Attend lift and escalator breakdowns and perform repairs and control modifications on lifts and escalators, including Re-roping, Hoisting, and Rigging.</li><li>Perform Upgrades and Repair work in accordance with all relevant Codes, including SAA Lift Code AS1735, and in accordance with the relevant Award and /or Enterprise Bargaining Agreement.</li><li>Liaise with customers and submit leads using Otis-provided applications.</li></ul><h2>Key working relationships - Internally and Externally</h2><ul><li>Works closely with the Field Engineers, Service Mechanics, and Branch and Operations Managers.</li><li>Liaises with functional management at other Otis entities and headquarters.</li><li>Represents the Company's relationships with major customers, suppliers, and the public.</li><li>Sales Team: Sales Account Representatives, Managers, and Coordinators (where relevant).</li><li>External stakeholders include Customers, Building Owners, Managers, Independent and Government Agencies, Unions, Consultants, and Suppliers.</li></ul><h2>What You Will Need To Be Successful</h2><ul><li>Have an Electrical license or a Cert III in Electrotechnology</li><li>Hold a valid driver's license.</li><li>Minimum five (5) years’ experience within the Lift Industry.</li><li>Extensive Electrical and Mechanical knowledge across large equipment and the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.</li><li>Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training and demonstrated fault-finding and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Good English language skills, both verbal and written</li><li>Intermediate knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (Word, Excel, Email, Internet).</li><li>A committed professional, with safety as priority</li><li>Has attention to detail and is results-driven, curious, adaptable, and able to work well alone or in a team</li></ul><h2>Benefits</h2><ul><li>You will receive a long-term employment contract with the world market leader in a crisis-proof industry.</li><li>36 hours per week work and we offer you remuneration in accordance with local EBA</li><li>We will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.</li><li>You will receive modern and high-quality work clothes, your own tools, an iPhone and a tool of trade (depending on coverage area)</li></ul><h2>Apply today and help us build what's next.</h2>If you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.
