NEW CAMPUS - KEILOR EAST - NIDDRIE AUTISTIC SCHOOL
Niddrie Autistic School is a government school located in the South West Victoria Region. The school has established a strong reputation for delivering exemplary education for students with autism, catering specifically to students from Prep to Year 3.
The Department of Education has announced a new campus for our school. The campus will have places for up to 32 Year 4 students. Current Year 3 students will have the option to transition to the new campus from Term 4, 2026, ready to commence in 2027.
It will be at the former East Keilor Campus of Essendon Keilor College at 82-84 Quinn Grove, about a 5-minute (2.8km) drive from the Niddrie Campus.
As the site was used for secondary education until last year, the existing facilities are not suitable for specialist education.
For the beginning of Term 4, 2026, the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) will deliver the new campus through modular construction with the view of developing a whole new campus to accommodate future cohorts from years 4 to 12.
This construction method provides purpose-built facilities that incorporate autism-specific education requirements including an emphasis on safety and supervision, with appropriate classroom and play spaces.
The campus will include:
- 2 specialist classroom buildings, each with:
- student toilets and bathing facilities
- a connected fenced outdoor play area
- a staff administration building
- a multi-purpose building
- a central playground, with shade sails and surrounding path
- a sandpit
- a covered drop off and pick up bus zone
- staff toilets
- a storage sheds
This campus will help address the current need for Year 4 autism-specific specialist education in our local area.
The Niddrie Campus will still be responsible for operations as the Keilor East campus will start as a smaller cohort.

Role
The Administration Office Manager, under the instruction of the Business Manager and NAS Principal, is responsible for the coordination and day-to-day management of administrative services across the school¿s Keilor East campus.
Working closely with the Business Manager, Daily Organiser and Principal Team, the Administration Office Manager ensures the efficient operation of administration functions, the delivery of high-quality customer service, and compliance with Department of Education policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
The role provides support to administration staff, oversees office systems and processes, and contributes to the effective operation of the school through strong organisational, communication and people management skills.
Other duties include:
Being first aid provider for the campus
Using Compass and Outlook for communication to parents and other staff at either campus
Key Responsibilities
Administration and Management

Be the front-end person of the Keilor East campus

Oversee and perform reception duties and Provide First Aid assistance as required

Coordinate and support the administration duties at the Keilor East campus.

Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.

In consultation with the Business Manager and Principal develop, implement and review administrative procedures and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness in a multi campus school and determine and manage work priorities in the Administration team.

Monitor administrative workflows and ensure deadlines and timelines are met.

Support workforce planning, induction and training of administration staff as instructed by the Business Manager.

Promote a collaborative, professional and customer-focused culture within the administration team.

Escalate operational issues and concerns to the Business Manager and Principal Team as required.

Ensure consistency of administrative practices across all campuses.

Manage office communications, correspondence and administrative procedures.

Coordinate office purchasing, stock control, ordering, receiving and distribution processes.

Assist with emergency management and operational procedures as directed.

Assist with enrolment enquiries via phone, email and in person

Coordinate and schedule enrolment interviews and school tours with relevant staff

Oversee student enrolment, admissions, transfers and exit processes.

Ensure the accurate maintenance of student records in accordance with Department of Education requirements and privacy legislation.

Ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of student information and records.

Maintain, enter and retrieve data using CASES21, Compass and other approved Department systems.

Provide support in delivering a high standard of customer service to students, families, staff and visitors.

Coordinate effective communication between campuses and support consistent administrative practices.

Support communication processes including Compass, correspondence and parent communications.

Maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, families and external stakeholders.

Ensure confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.

Maintain knowledge of relevant Department policies and communicate updates to administration staff.

In consultation with the Business Manager and Principal Team support continuous improvement initiatives and administrative process reviews.

Participate in and promote professional learning and development opportunities.
