Join Our Small & Friendly Team

We are a small business looking for a reliable, hard-working and motivated person to join our team on a full-time basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in what they do, and is not afraid to get stuck in.

The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for the collection and management of meat waste from shops and wholesalers, including:

Driving and operating an HR (Heavy Rigid) truck
Collecting meat waste from shops and wholesalers
Safely handling and managing meat waste during collection
Using hydraulic bin lifts to safely lift and empty waste bins into the truck
Performing manual labour and physically demanding tasks
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Carrying out routine checks and basic care of the truck and equipment
Following all relevant workplace health, safety and hygiene requirements
Working independently & self-Managed while also being a reliable member of our small team

The successful applicant will be:

Hard-working, reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour
Comfortable working with meat waste and in a hands-on environment
Safety-conscious and responsible
Able to work independently
A team player with a positive attitude
Willing to learn and take pride in their work

Prerequisites

Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Truck Driver's Licence
Previous truck driving experience preferred
Good driving record
Physically capable of performing manual labour

Pay: Competitive rate, discussed during the recruitment process.
