Urban Doors and Hardware are a supplier of Second Fix and Eave materials to the building trade. We are currently looking for an experienced Truck Driver/Store Person to support our daily warehouse operations. We are seeking a reliable and well organised person to fit into our small team, a valid MR licence is essential.
The list of duties and responsibilities includes:
Truck Driver Role
- Transporting goods to and from a variety of locations, ensuring their punctual delivery.
- Delivery drivers are responsible for loading and unloading their cargo, ensuring that it is transported safely and without damage.
- Loading and unloading goods involves strenuous physical labour.
- Completion and management of all documentation related to deliveries, including manifests, POD photos.
- Driving at all times in a legal and professional manner, keeping in mind the reputation of the company.
- Providing professional customer service at all times.
Warehouse Role
- Handling deliveries, unpacking loads/packs of stock.
- Loading/unloading the truck and other work vehicles.
- Verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing of stock.
- Prepare and process orders for delivery, ensuring that they are complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse, ensuring that all safety procedures are followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Pay: From $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
