The Opportunity:
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated driving professional to join the team at our Wingfield depot. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for performing local and regional work on a full-time basis and be part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Please note that hours may vary for this role as required by customer operational demands, and may require overnight trips, weekend work and Public Holidays.
You will:
Loading, transporting and unloading bulk petroleum products at retail and depot sites throughout South Australia in a safe and professional manner
Drive multiple vehicles, including single, b-double combinations
Adhere to safety and compliance policies and procedures
Ensure fleet presentation is well organised
Follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
What you’ll bring:
Relevant truck licenses and driving experience, but more importantly an open mind to learn the K&S way, and desire to become a reliable member of the team.
You will have:
Previous on road experience operating a HC truck, (MC can be considered)
Prior experience in retail fuel, desirable
BFM desirable but not essential
Dangerous goods license
Safe loading pass (SLP)
Knowledge of the local and country road network - preferred but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail, meticulous about fleet presentation
Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
