Colour Mixer Machine Operator (Day Shift) - Darra QLD

Monday to Friday role - 7am - 4.30pm, some Saturday work

About the role

The Colour Mixer Machine Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Darra, QLD. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be operating the machines in the factory that produces Rooftiles.

Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past
Operating multiple machines, fault finding and performing quality control checks
Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S Standards in the work area
Set up and filling of applicator.
Quality control checks
Reset tile machines and start.
Understand production plan and ensure correct colour and profile being produced.
Upholding high standards of housekeeping

You will be working day shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday work may be required and will be paid as overtime.

What you bring to the role

Demonstrated progressive experience in a production or process technical role in a similar industry (warehousing or large manufacturing environment)
A strong commitment to safety awareness
Willingness to learn and absorb new information and skills.
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
