About the opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our Infrastructure Services team in Hendra. This is a hands-on role that offers plenty of variety both on and off the machine.
You’ll be working on a range of civil electrical infrastructure projects and will play an important part in delivering high-quality outcomes for our clients.
Your duties will include:
- Excavating for pit and pipe installations
- Trenching, final trim, and working around live services
- Pit and conduit installation
- General labouring and concreting
- Pipe laying
Assisting with other site duties as required

We’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious operator who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a team. You’ll need to be flexible, proactive, and ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.
You’ll have:
- Valid excavator licence with 3+ years of experience
- Strong experience working around live services
- Electrical or NBN civil infrastructure knowledge
- Any Energex accreditations (highly regarded)
- Additional tickets (e.g., confined space, dogging) are an advantage
- Willingness to work day or night shifts as required
