As a Senior Technical Account Manager, Dairy , you will play a key role in driving commercial and technical success across Australia. Based in Melbourne, you will partner with leading dairy, food, and beverage manufacturers leveraging our world-class BioSolutions (such as cultures, enzymes, and dairy technologies) to help them bring innovative products to market while building long-term strategic relationships. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong technical mindset who enjoys combining business development, technical collaboration, and customer engagement to deliver meaningful impact.

The Role & Your Impact

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of strategic food and beverage customers while identifying new growth opportunities that support Novonesis' business ambitions.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage strategic key accounts within the dairy sector and deliver sustained revenue growth across your assigned portfolio.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with business objectives and growth ambitions.
Lead commercial discussions and support contract negotiations in collaboration with business and country leadership.
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities, customer relationships, and market segments.
Manage complex sales projects while coordinating activities across customers and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships across procurement, R&D, product development, quality, production, marketing, and senior leadership teams.
Partner closely with internal Sales, Commercial Development, Technical Application/R&D, and Supply Chain teams locally and globally to ensure seamless project delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Present innovations, product launches, technical solutions, and business insights to customers while supporting production trials and commercialization activities.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

We are looking for a commercially astute and customer-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic business environment.

Required qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Science, Business, or a related discipline.
5–8 years of professional experience in technical sales, account management, or commercial development within the dairy or dairy ingredients sector.
Strong account management and business development capabilities.
Experience managing customer relationships and commercial projects.
Proficiency in CRM systems; experience with Salesforce is advantageous.

Strong understanding of dairy processing, milk transformation, cheese/yogurt application processes.
